One more time, and as we are used each year, we received the visit of Master Maidana VII Degree, who continues promoting Taekwon-Do. He was giving some seminars in England and Ireland. Then, he came to Barcelona, where he was received by his pupil, Instructor Fernando Pérez VI Degree.

Some activities took place during Master Maidana visit to Condal City on Saturday March 8th.

SPECIAL CLASSES

During the morning of Saturday 8 March, in the headquarters of ITF of Spain, Master Maidana gave a Master Class. This was directed to youth and during almost 2 hours Master Maidana showed different displacements and coordinations that were of much interest for all and that are directly applicable to the sparring.

The boys worked with much intensity and concentration during all the class and demonstrated a good level and good capacity of learning, following the indications of Master Maidana and correcting quickly when it was necessary.

During the afternoon, at 16 hs, started the second masters class, this time thought for teenagers and adults. Already in this class, the exercises were more complex technically, but always under thematic of displacements and the coordinations, very interesting and real, showed by Master Maidana all his experience of so many years of Taekwon-do, and particularly at the front of the Argentina Selection like National Coach.

The students in this class trained hard and had the opportunity to ask several doubts the Teacher, which were answered with much knowledge.

BLACK BELT EXAMINATION

At noon of the same day, Saturday 8 March, began the examination for III Degree for Instructors Leonardo Monreal and Carlos Berkenbusch, both students of Instructor Fernando Perez.

During one hour , Master Maidana, with the collaboration of the President of the ITF of Spain, examined both instructors and observed the growth obtained from the last category.

The examination went through the forms (4), techniques of coordination, techniques of confrontation to 1 step, self-defense, fights, breaking and theory.

Also the thesis presented/displayed by both were evaluated and asked in the oral part. The result was the satisfactory for both, obtaining a new and important category, that it approaches a step more to be International Instructors and who jeopardizes them to continue surpassing after many more objectives.
