ITF de España

The ITF of Spain is an organization recognized by the ITF according to number of INO 147 . The ITF of Spain has delegations in Catalonia, Madrid, Aragon, Valencia, Andalucía, Galicia and País Vasco.

The ITF of Spain follows the leadership of the Gran Master Choi Jung Hwa IX Degree and son of the founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi.

Our interests are to promote the original Taekwon-Do in all the scope of the Spanish territory and to collaborate with those countries or Instructors who wish to know how our Federation works.

Our proposal of work consists of a sure and coherent system with the ITF rules, that includes so much the educational scope as sport and that offers an optimistic vision for all those that see the possibility of taking the activity as a mean of life.

The ITF of Spain contemplates the homologation of degrees of other styles of Taekwon-Do, always after an evaluation as much of the degrees presented/displayed as of the technical level of the instructor.

In the educational scope, our projection marks a destiny to us of thousands of instructors. We are arriving at the best sport clubs and gymnasiums and to a great number of educative institutions thanks to a special program of education for schools.

In the sport scope, during 2007, the ITF of Spain will carry out the first Autonomic Championships, in the Catalonia case and Aragón will be added to the Championship of Spain that is made the last weekend of the month of November.

For that reason, during 2007, the ITF of Spain held its first Regional Championships (Cataluña and Aragón), that were added to the Spain Championship that always takes part at the end of the year.

Some more Championships will be added in different regions, such as Madrid and Valencia, that will also be included in the ITF of Spain Competition Circuit. The main aim is to make this circuit, never done in Spain before, the nest of great champions, and a trade mark for our institution.

As always, many international championships will be added to our agenda, and Spain will take part actively, in the European scope and also in the Official ITF Competitions.
