International Seminar with Master Galarraga

The first weekend of October was a special occasion for ITF Spain who had the opportunity to host Master Nestor Galarraga (VIII) for Spain's first International Instructor Course. The event was held in the city of Barcelona and was organised by Mr. Fernando Perez, VI, President of ITF Spain and Chairman of the ITF European Tournament Committee.

England Championship 2009

A team from ITF spain traveled to England Open on 10 - 11 October. The team consisted on members of ITF Aragón and Barcelona Taekwon-do Center, both groups were leaded by their directors, Christian Oriolani y Mariano Molina.

Seminar with Fabio Caiazzo 2009

On sunday 21st June took place at Polideportivo Municipal de Alcorisa, Teruel, two seminars from ITF Aragón. On 1st place took park the italian representant and world champion Fabio Caiazzo (VI Dan) who is also the italian coach.

Catalunya Championship 2009

It took part at Parc de Llobregat (Cornella) the Catalunya Championship 2009. It was organized by Barcelona Taekwondo Center and fiscalized by ITF of Spain. There were many competitors from Catalunya and many others from Aragon, showing a great organization, with very high technical level.

Italian Championship 2009

Un equipo de la ITF ARAGON, representando a la ITF de España, partió el pasado 1 de Mayo rumbo al Campeonato Italiano que se desarrollo en Terracina, Italia. Este fue supervisado por la ITA y organizado por el Sabonim Fabio Caiazzo VI Dan. Contó con la presencia de competidores de toda Italia de todas las edades y grados.

Black Belt Exams 2009

Siendo las 17 hs del 22 de Marzo de 2009, dió comienzo en el Gimnasio Palladium (Zaragoza) el examen para las categorías de I, II, III, V y VII Dan. La mesa examinadora estaba dirigida por el Maestro VIII Dan Néstor Galarraga, secundada por el VII Dan Maestro José Maidana (Arg) y el Maestro VII Dan Don Dalton (Ird).

Masterclass with Master Galarraga 2009

A las 10 am del 22 de Marzo, en el Gimnasio Palladium (Montecanal, Zaragoza) se realizó la primera Master Class a cargo del Maestro Néstor Galarraga, VIII Dan. Esta, que tuvo una duración de 2 hs, contó con la presencia de 20 niños de todas las categorías. Practicantes de Italia y Zaragoza compartieron un lindo momento junto al Maestro.

Aragon Championship 2009

La competicion comienzo a las 9,20 am del día Sábado 21 de Marzo. Se comenzó con categorías Danes (juveniles y adultos, forma).

Mediterranean Open 2008

El Jueves 13 de Diciembre de 2008 partió una delegación española rumbo al II Mediterranean Open de Taekwon-Do ITF en la ciudad de Cagliari, Italia.

World Cup 2008

Los días 6-7-8-9 de Noviembre de 2008 se disputó en Punta del Este, Uruguay, la Copa del Mundo de TaeKwon-Do ITF. Esta contó con la participación de distintos países a nivel mundial y unos 800 competidores. LaITF de España asistió con una representación importante.

Seminar Grand Master Choi 2009

During days 12, 13 and 14 June, took place the Seminar given by Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa, President of the ITF and son of the founder of Taekwon-do, in London.

It had the presence of many instructors. Also it is important to remark the participation of high degrees as VI and VII Degrees.

European Championship 2009

It took place from 25th until 30th May the European Championship in Umag City, Croatia. There were 22 countries and Spain was represented by its male team, one individual female competidor, one coach and one oficial.

Aragon Championship 2009

On March 21st will take place the III Aragon ITF Championship 2009 in Zaragoza, Spain.

Spanish Championship 2008

On november 29th and 30th will take place the Spanish Championship 2008 in Zaragoza.

World Taekwon-Do Festival 2008

From 2 to 6 of July took place in South Korea the 10th World Taekwon-Do Festival, with more than 60 nations participating in both WTF and ITF competitions.

The spanish delegation was formed by Sabomnim Fernando Pérez, VI Degree, and Sabom Leonardo Monreal, III Degree, whom traveled to Cheongju, the host city of this Championship.

European Championship 2008

From 4th until July 6th took place at Pallace Center Cagliari, Italy the XIX ITF SENIOR, X JUNIOR and II VETERAN EUROPEAN TAEKWON-DO CHAMPIONSHIPS. There were 15 countries attending this event.

The spanish delegation was represented by: Carlos Martín (President FITE), Ricardo Rodríguez (Umpire), Mariano Bechara (Coach) and the team: Gabriel Leske, Adrián Ramírez, Agustín López, Daniel Adamiak and Adrián González.

National Coach

ITF of Spain is proud to announce that the National Coach for all the official ITF Championships until the World Champ of Canada 2010 is Instructor Mariano Bechara, V Degree, who is doing an excellent task in its school of the community of Madrid.

Catalunya Championship 2008

On April 26 took part at La Mina Sport Complex the Catalunya Championship 2008, in Barcelona. It was organized by Barcelona Taekwondo Center and fiscalized by ITF of Spain.

Seminar with Grand Master Choi

During days 28, 29 and 30 March, took place the Seminar given by Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa, President of the ITF and son of the founder of Taekwon-do, in Cork, Ireland, organized by VI Degree, Mr Don Dalton.

It had the presence of a hundred instructors from I Gup ahead. Also it is possible to emphasize the numerous participation of high degrees as they are VI and VII Degrees.

The International Seminar was taken by people from many countries like Greece, Italy, England, Holland, Norway and in representation of the ITF of Spain the Saboním Christian Oriolani (Zaragoza).

Master Maidana in Barcelona

One more time, and as we are used each year, we received the visit of Master Maidana VII Degree, who continues promoting Taekwon-Do. He was giving some seminars in England and Ireland. Then, he came to Barcelona, where he was received by his pupil, Instructor Fernando Pérez VI Degree.

Some activities took place during Master Maidana visit to Condal City on Saturday March 8th.
